Description: Snuff can of white enamelled metal from approx. 1750 with gilded brass fittings. Exterior decorated with six scenes which were very popular at the time. The voyage of discovery, ships, ruins and much more. Inside as tradition commanded insects, the box is not signed or stamped but probably made in London. A very beautiful specimen.
